My love of photography has been a more recent discovery.  I received my first DSLR camera as a gift around six years ago, and it quickly became a passion. Or to be honest, more of an obsession!

I live in Melbourne, Australia and life is busy. With my camera I like to interpret the things I see in a minimal way, simplifying and reducing the “noise” that surrounds me. I am inspired by the detail in things that often go unnoticed or appreciated, and find beauty in the simplicity of the every day.

I am driven by strong design.  Lines, patterns, colours and shapes, and the effect that light has on a surface and how that is constantly changing.  I also love abstraction and how it challenges the way we see things.

Walking and exploring the streets of the city where I live, no matter how many times I cross the same paths, there is always something different and exciting that catches my eye.

I am also inspired by new environments on my travels within Australia and overseas.

Exploring with my camera, time has no meaning. I am lost in my own world and at my happiest.
